Postpartum physiotherapy helps women recover from the physical and emotional demands of childbirth with a personalized treatment plan tailored to each stage of your postpartum and your unique needs. A combinaison of hands-on manual therapy, C-section management, diastasis recti treatment, pain relief, restoring strength through exercises, improving mobility and education are given to help you regain your function and confidence as well as to promote a smoother transition into motherhood, enhancing your overall well-being.
Initial Assessment
We begin with a full review of your health history, symptoms, and lifestyle. Then, a physical exam leads to a clinical impression and your initial treatment — including manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, pain relief strategies, and your first set of exercises.
Follow-Up Sessions
Each visit builds on the last. We monitor your progress, adjust your treatment, progress your exercise program, and give you the knowledge to stay injury-free long-term.
What to Wear
Comfortable clothing that allows access to the injured area (e.g. shorts, t-shirt, camisole).
Private Room
All sessions are one-on-one in a private, professional setting.
Can I bring baby to the sessions?
Yes, of course! I understand the demands of new motherhood and can accommodate your needs. However, the clinic entrance has three steps, therefore it would be easier for you to not bring the stroller.
